My Life in Japan

Japan

Welcome to my Japan blog!

This blog will cover all sorts of topics related to my life in Japan. Since I cover so many topics, I’ve organized my posts into different categories for ease of search—check out the sidebar to read all posts in a category, or use the search bar for specific topics.

Or, if you want to just jump in, take a look at some of my recent posts below.

I am always open to suggestions, corrections, and random chatting so feel free to contact me using the form below or by leaving comments on posts. I will get back to you in a day or two!

Come join me on my journey through life in Japan.

Just some background

I’ve been living in Japan since 2015, and when I first got here I knew very little about the language or culture. I spent hours reading blogs and guides just to figure out how to survive, so I figured I should return the favor and share my own experiences and advice.

This blog will mix a little bit of everything—from simple Japan travel guides, to tips and how-to’s for everyday life in Japan, to detailed explanations about Japanese language and history. I’ll do my best to keep my thoughts organized!

I’ve spent most of my adult life in Japan. Hopefully that means I can provide at least some useful advice. Leave a comment or send me an email if there’s anything else you want to see on here. I’d be happy to write up a post for you! And of course, I’m always open to a random chat with you guys, so comment away. 🙂
